I’m Ed — a professional gardener and former
graphic designer who has always had an eye
for detail and a love for well-made things.

Before gardening, I spent over 20 years
as a graphic designer and photographer;
the last decade of that, working for myself
with a company I built from the ground up:
Ed Stern Ink & Co.

I created logos and websites, designed toys,
and collaborated on large-scale advertising
campaigns across the US, Europe,
East Asia, and South America.

 

Now based in LA, I am pursuing opportunities
to contribute to public-facing landscapes,
particularly within museums, universities,
and municipal settings, where thoughtful
planting and maintenance serve a larger
environmental and cultural purpose.
