Hi, I’m Ed. I am a professional gardener with an appreciation
for well-made things.

 

My interest in gardens began early, from working in my father’s vegetable garden in Upstate New York to visiting historic estates and landscapes throughout the Northeast.

 

While living in New York City and working as a Creative Director, daily walks through Central Park, The High Line, parks along
the West Side of Manhattan, and frequent visits to botanical gardens aided in reconnecting me to the joy I found outdoors
away from the concrete and glass.

 

Traveling through Europe as a photographer further shaped
my perspective, especially the riads in Morocco as well as
the gardens of southern Spain, and Northern Italy.

 

Now based in Los Angeles, I have an interest in public-facing spaces such as museums, universities, and municipal environments where everyone can enjoy the calm that these places embody.
